“A THAI woman and a BDF worker who committed adultery were each jailed for one year yesterday. The 37-year-old woman and her lover, 38, confessed to the charges after a trial at the Lower Criminal Court. The Thai woman's Bahraini husband earlier filed a case at the police station complaining his wife had committed adultery with the Bahraini, according to court documents. The defendants confessed to having sex, but the BDF employee said that he did not know the woman was married. The husband said in his statement that he married the woman six years ago and brought her to Bahrain. He said he heard his wife speaking to someone on the phone and when he tried to learn who she was speaking to she cut the line and erased the number. The next day, he claimed, he went to buy a few items for the house and when he returned he discovered that his wife had run away and switched off her mobile. A few days later, she called him and told him that she was at her friend's house and had come back home. When he woke up the next morning, he found that his wife had run away again ……” Gulf Daily News

It took this guy a while to get it. But it looks like he finally did. One year in jail is not bad, beats stoning in some Middle East countries, beats whatever it is they do to them in Texas.
