Iraq: Islamist al-Hashemi Resorts to Sectarian and Ethnic Divisions……….

Aljazeera reports that Tareq al-Hashemi, one of three Iraqi vice presidents has said that the next president of Iraq should be an Arab. He did not specify a “Sunni” Arab, but that is clearly what he means. He wants the Kurd replaced by a Sunni Arab, yet no one in the media of the Arab oligarchies have criticized him for being "divisive" and "sectarian", as they would if a Shi’a or a Kurd had said it. Al-Hashemi, an Islamist politician, clearly would like to be the next president.
I have decided to issue a fatwa that al-Hashemi shall not be the next president of Iraq.
