Campus Shocker: The British Do it Too………….
“The student union at Cambridge University's Newnham College said it sent the e-mail to all undergrads Tuesday after receiving 30 complaints about late-night noises in the residence halls, the Daily Mail reported Thursday. The e-mail, written by Newnham College Junior Common Room President Lizzy Cole, reminded students that the corridors of the dormitories corridors "funneled sound" through the "thin college walls." Some students said they were embarrassed to learn their neighbors could hear their late-night activities…….”
I never went to school in Britain, so I didn’t expect that they do things that are done on most college campuses in the United States. For some reason I had thought they had given all that stuff up years ago. I bet even Tony Blair used to dabble. But I wouldn’t hold my breath about KAUST, not yet.
