Hezbollah on Feltman on Hezbollah…..
“In an interview with Al-Hayat newspaper published on Sunday, US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman said reports indicate “large quantities of weapons are being smuggled to Hezbollah in the South, which would be a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.” “We don't find any seriousness in the implementation of this resolution in south Lebanon. This honestly is a source of concern,” he said. Feltman said he is “worried” Israel will launch a war against Lebanon because of the increase in arms smuggling to Hezbollah. Regarding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Feltman claimed that the US is distancing itself from the STL because it does not want to interfere with the tribunal’s work. "We don't know, and we don't want to know or interfere in the (tribunal's) work," he added……....” al-Manar
Hezbollah, reporting in a surprisingly detached way on Assistant US Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman, with whom they got along infamously during his tenure in Beirut. Clearly he hasn't given up that fight. Sharing a couple of cocktails would have gone a long way toward breaking the ice between Feltman and Nasrallah.
They also get along the same way, but perhaps not as infamously with Michelle Sisson. Those cocktails are out of question now.
