The Red Line in Tehran, Iran Reports Mausavi and Karroubi Free in Town…………..

“Informed sources have denied earlier reports that Mehdi Karroubi and Mir-Hossein Mousavi have fled Tehran amid security concerns. "Reports about the riot leaders' escape from Tehran are denied," Fars news agency reported late on Wednesday. Earlier on Wednesday, IRNA reported that "two of those who played a major role in igniting tension in Iran following the (June presidential) vote fled from Tehran to northern Iran because they were scared of angry people who had called for their punishment," in an indirect reference to Karroubi and Mousavi……….” Press TV

Interesting the comment that they were “scared of angry people”. On the other hand, some Arab oligarchy media also have their own take on this: the heavily pro-Saudi daily alseyassah even made up a story claiming on its front page that Mausavi and Karrubi were arrested and taken out of Tehran
It is highly unlikely that these two will be arrested now. If they are, that means the situation on the streets of Iran is getting nearly out of hand. Arresting them will be a red line that may lead to a permanent state of war on the streets of Tehran, it will also indicate a coup in Tehran by the hardliners; it will mean that Iran has resorted to the more oppressive methods of its neighboring Arab oligarchies.
Cheers and Happy New Year
