International Brotherhood of Loose Pants and the Religious Police

A youth’s pants are his castle?
<Banning those who wear loose pants from praying in Saudi mosques. The ban came after ‘someone’ noticed the spread of the type of trousers known among the young as “Drop me”, or “Forgive me Papa” or “I challenge you to know me”........In addition to some strange haircuts like long hair or ponytails…..

For their part the society for Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (PVPV) have agreed to help arrest all young men who break the social norm......”

These odd names must be local Saudi slang for these attires. A sort of Saudi Jive, if you will.
It is understandable that the hairy zealots of PVPV are eager to crack down on someone. As for strange haircuts, I doubt that they had Supercuts or the like in old Mecca, so chances are that all the early Muslims and the Sahaba, like their ancestors, has braids or ponytails. I doubt that they wore the type of loose pant that slipped down to near the crotch, though. In fact maybe they wore no pants at all. Just like that place in France where the popular rhyme tells us some people wore no pants.
I wonder what the mullahs think of all this, they probably have their own slang...

Just shows you that youth are similar everywhere. But not the religious police: in America they don’t roam the streets, they get elected first before they break their own taboos.
