Geobbelses of Arabia: Of Shi’as, Communists, Revolting Regimes, and Revolting State Security Courts

“It is certain that if, God unwilling, the American-Zionist plot against Iran succeeded and we find at the top of power Americanized and Israeliized groups, then we may start hearing new talks about the Sunni danger in Iraq and Afghanistan.......” alarabalyawm (Jordan))
This column comes one week after news reports that six Jordanians are being tried by the Satet Security Court for advocating the Shi’a sect. They are being tried in the State Security Court of King Abdul de Jourdanie. State Security Courts are not normal criminal courts; they are used by Arab oligarchies solely to try such grave offenders as: terrorists, potential terrorists, reformists, all opponents of the oligarchy, and those who advocate the Shi’a brand of Islam.
Arab State Security Courts are the equivalent of the revolutionary courts in other countries. Except that there is nothing revolutionary about them: they are more the revolting type of court set up by revolting Arab regimes so that they can continue in power and continue revolting their peoples.
That in itself should be a human rights offense.
(Oddly, in Arabic the term for Shi’a <Shi’a> sounds close to the term Sheyou’ie <Communist>; but that is a mere coincidence not related to the factthat both are always suspected of trying to overthrow some despot oranother. During the battle for Gaza between Fatah and Hamas, the Dahlangoons were taunting the Hamas goons with the call “Shi’a, Shi’a, Shi’a”as a derogatory term, even though Hamas are Sunni fundamentalists. TheFatah goons lost that battle to the Hamas goons, but they probablyreceived a lot of petro-money for it).
