Iran: Is the Mouse Roaring Again?


“Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called on the judiciary to deal firmly with leaders of the ‘disturbances’ that followed the presidential results….He said those ‘really’ responsible for the riots should be punished, but he called for taking it easy with those who fell into believing the lies about rigging the election results….He said the elections thwarted the plots of the enemies.....” alalam (Official Iranian)

He must be feeling his oats again; but he is wounded.
He didn’t mention anything about George Soros, a name being used nowadays in some Arab media as someone behind the ‘plot’. That would be one thing he has in common with the American right wing. Maybe he thinks that now, after the elections have been certified by the leading clergy, it’s time to ‘MoveOn’.
