De Rothschild the Europhile Derides Obama the Elitist, Palin Gets Foreign Policy Experience by Osmosis, Of Darwinist Gods and Politicians

“Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, who lives in Europe, attends Ascot regularly and raised funds for Hillary Clinton, has decided to support John McCain. She says that Obama is an elitist and out of touch with 'average Americans'…” Fox News and other sources, but especially Fox News where Howard Wolfson now resides while licking his wounds.

Interesting new take on elitism. De Rothschild, who has homes in Europe and New York (City of course), but perhaps not as many as seven. The McCain campaign did not explain if the very ordinary Lady de Rothschild, who is very 'average American' and not 'uppity' at all, will join Alaska governor Sarah Palin in shaking hands with world leaders next week at the UN. They count on these upcoming handshakes to help Palin absorb wisdom and knowledge of international affairs (no, not that kind of affairs) through osmosis from their fingertips. It doesn't really matter if she does not suck in knowledge and wisdom through the fingertips, many television-soaked viewers will believe that she looks presidential- but probably not enough of them.

Will Palin give Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a hug, as tight as God gives her when she ponders global warming? Will she try to convert him to the joys of a very tough-loving Darwinist, social and otherwise, Christian God? Will he try to convert her to the joys of Shi'a Islam and the wait for the Second Coming of the vanished Mahdi who will return, even though her inclinations are more of the Salafi Sunni type (but sans burqa'a)? Are they both being original here?

Cheers
